Anything goes!

Have you had weeks where you felt soooooooo busy and yet you really were not achieving anything worthwhile? Well, this week is one of those weeks for me. But I could also attribute it to 4th of July sandwiched in the middle of the week, leaving me in an extended holiday mood.

And I didn’t feel like bringing my blue lunchbox to work either. I ate out most of the time this week and that is not a good idea because I tend to overeat when I dine outside. My American friends only laugh when I mention anything about me gaining weight or my attempts at dieting. But that is only because they are so used to seeing big people but every time I send pics to my friends back in the Philippines they always say: “Girl, you’ve gained weight!” So now… I’m torn. LOL! Talk about petty issues.

I’m not in a real writing mood today but I just wanted to write something to pass the time because I woke up very early and I’ve nothing to do. I hope I will be able to finish my work at 2pm today. Then I can have a long weekend and go shopping again. I went shopping for clothes last Wednesday – clothes to wear to a work-related seminar in St. Louis. I’m torn between looking trendy and professional… I know I can mix both but it takes an awful lot of time to put everything together! You have to consider the shoes, the purse, the accessories and the make-up to go with it. LOL! Another petty issue.

I know I am gonna delete this blog sometime this weekend. Or maybe not. ‘Coz this blog for sure will remind me that variety is the spice of life. So if you are going to post any comment, don’t even think of the grammar and all. I’m not here to judge and nor should you! Let’s loosen up. You can even say something entirely unrelated to this blog. Share your thoughts. Anything goes!

    chang,

you never seem to have any problem with what to wear while you were here. one day you’re trendy, proper the next. on certain days, you reveal more than my eyes could handle.

you practically look the same to me, if not prettier. as for clothes, try to be professional on mondays and tuesdays…wednesdays, in between..and thursdays/fridays you can be trendy.

it’s amazing that you now have the tendency to overeat when you dine outside. i remember the Nancy’s days 3 years ago. hahaha…

you’ll be fine in the long run

It is OK to eat & at least you konw how to balance your diet in the next meal. I too, is a food lover.. I can eat whatever I like or whatever my taste buds crave for. Especially now that we are two…but I don’t care as long as I am still eating & thanking God for it is a blessing. But I don’t think you will gain weight Auntie chang :-) Just enjoy eating and it is good to share what you eat too to someone who needs it the most..heheheh! Klaro bani akong gisuwat diri? nuh? Take care!

You’re not alone zette, i love to eat too. Ang nakapait pa kay sige ra ko ug luto (my passion – cooking, my fave channel – foodnetwork). Small frequent feedings na lang siguro zette (maayo kaayo ko mo-advice dah). Pero para nako, mao ra man ka gihapon. You’re not fat, you just gained, maybe? But the most important thing is – you still carry yourself to a “T”.
